Since more and more applications had showed up with the large number of using the mobile phones, the phenomenon of using the applications had become more widespread and more general.

According to the survey, most applications having been downloaded are games, communications soft wares and the retouching soft wares, especially the games. Through this, we can see that the needs of applications are mostly based on entertainment and what is really easy to kill time.
Also, we can see that in both countries, the top ten applications are all for free.
The difference between the consumers in Taiwan and U.S.A is that in Taiwan, consumers would focus more on the communication soft wares, even though there are some game applications are in the top ten lists. As far as the information showed that most people in Taiwan downloaded the games are in propose to get the cute and funny stickers, so that they can post it when they are chatting with others. Unlike Taiwan, users in U.S.A don’t have this kind of applications, so what they had downloaded is what they really wanted.
Above all, free and interesting game or communicative software applications were the most attractive application, and they are the only key word on the application market.
